Thanks for visiting Kansas City’s first and only community designed  exclusively for area professionals interested in growing their business by developing new relationships.

About Us

My name is Brad Justice and I’ve spent the last 23 years of my professional life developing new business right here in Kansas City. During that time, I’ve been blessed to meet and build many great relationships with some terrific people. I’ve always believed that Kansas City may not have the mountains, or a beach, but we do have some of the most generous and kind hearted people you’ll meet. A lot of those people also happen to be really good at their work as well. These professionals understand success in business comes down to one thing: Relationships.

If you’ve read this far, it’s likely you’re pretty good at building relationships with people. You offer a valuable product or service and you know how to treat people. Once you get in front of the right person, you’re fine. The only problem is, you aren’t getting in front of the right people often enough. Sound familiar? Well, you’re not alone. I’ve been doing what I’m doing for over two decades now and I’d like to think I’m pretty decent at it and I know the only difference between where I am now and where I want to be is I just need more opportunities. I’ve talked to a lot of other business developers lately and they say they’re definitely in the same boat.

That’s why I decided to start this community. For the last 18 months, I’ve gone to networking events and talked to dozens of area business development professionals and asked them what’s working and what’s not working. During that time, not one person has told me they found a networking event or mixer that led them to new key relationships. Many of these folks tell me the reason these events don’t work is because everyone who goes to these things is looking to make a sale. The problem with that is, if everyone is looking to sell, who’s going to buy? Business just doesn’t work that way. In order for business to work properly, someone has to buy, or at least lead the sellers to people who will do the buying.

That’s what KC Sales Community is all about. It’s not a leads group, it’s not a networking group and it’s not a sales training organization. It’s a community of business development professionals who understand the power in giving and sharing with other people and developing long-term, meaningful and sustainable relationships.

How it Works

If you’re looking to build new relationships, jump on board and become a part of this unique community.

 1. Follow this site, or send me your contact information and you’ll receive all updates and invitations to community events.

2. Attend the quarterly live events where you’ll meet those new contacts and begin building those new relationships that will help you grow and sustain your business.

3. Once you get to know other professionals in the community and trust is established, do your best to urge your organization to do business with your fellow members. While we’ll never make this a rule, it is something we’ll need to encourage because it’s the thing that will differentiate our community from the mixers and leads groups. Instead of just meeting people, we’re going to actually do some business.

4. Come to all live events with the attitude of serving first and selling later. Focus on helping the other members meet new contacts and grow their business. Connect with them on LinkedIn and let them look at connections you have that might be beneficial to them. This type of open sharing is the dynamic part of this community and without it, it won’t work and we’ll become just another networking event.

That’s all you need to do. No paperwork, no cost and no cold calls. Just people helping people with the most essential thing in business. Meeting new people and building the kind of relationships that will not only help you grow your business, but sustain it as well.

Thanks for reading this far and I look forward to seeing you at our first live event coming soon!
